If I get an old car (1960-1980) and it needs a part repalced that is relatively hard to come by, is it possible to simply have the whole section thats problematic (engine) replaced with a new one. I understand this would make the car less vintage and all that but hey if the engine stops running I don't want to have to look all over creation for a new screw that was made for six months in 1969.
You can do it. Try to get an engine that will fit your 1960-1980 car.
