What kind of oil do I put in the crank/transmission case of my 2004 Yamaha Blaster?
I drained the oil and after reading the manual, i'm a little worried about putting anything else in the transmission case than what's recommended. I read someone saying something about using regular car ATF and that it works great but I only read that one persons recommendation.
What do you guys use for yours? I'm looking for something safe to use at Aid Auto or Auto Zone.

Use motorcycle engine oil in the blaster transmission. Don't use auto engine oil. Bike oil is engineered to work in the gearbox because 4 cycle bikes use the same oil for both engine and transmission. I would get the oil from a Yamaha dealer, not autozone.
