Why you need to upgrade your washing machine now!

Noise reduction technology, including sound proofing, vibration reduction and quieter motors means you no longer have to turn up the volume to drown out the sound of your clothes spinning.

What is a good, green cleaner to wash kitchen walls?
I want to wash my kitchen walls to remove all the hardened on cooking grease, especially around the stove. Dish soap takes a lot of scrubbing, the cheap degreasers I can afford work little better. I would like to use a green product that has minimal smell, as a family member has asthma. Can anyone suggest a good product? Thank you.
I recently had to clean a LOT of grease in my new house (I don't think the previous occupants ever cleaned). I pretreated with vinegar - let that sit for a bit, then used citra-solve (I think that's what it's called?). Citra solve is basically citrus oil. It's supposed to be diluted, but there was so much grease I mainly used full strength.
Also, you may want to scrape off a layer with a putty knife (yuck). That's what I had to do first. Scraped right off after the vinegar pre-treat.
