Is 18 too young to get your teeth professionally whitened?
I asked the dentist about getting my teeth professionally whitened but she said i was too young as it would break away the enamel. I don't think i'm too young since i'm almost 19 and there are so many young celebrities and young people my age who have had their teeth whitened and i just can't get over it because i don't see why i cant get mine whitened.
she said i would have to wait until i'm about 23, and i cant wait that long that is ridicules. i don't even want to smile any more i am so self continuous of my teeth. what should i do?

You should be fine...some people have to wait longer because of how their teeth are growing and SO many other things. But 18 should be plently old enough. Id get a second opinion and find someone that will do it, if NO one will, then maybe you really DO need to wait, but this doesn't sound right to me. Also, make sure your toothpaste has baking soda in it, because that's the only thing that will TRULY whiten. Good luck
