The Newest Trend In Literature Racks Include Waves
Literature racks including "wave" designs are a rising trend for businesses trying to set themselves apart from their competitors. These display units are the perfect literature racks for those seeking a unique and different approach to marketing their products in an effective, eye-catching manner.
These attractive literature racks are fabricated from rust resistant, brushed aluminum with a sleek silver finish. Each display stand includes (3) acrylic pockets to hold literature like brochures, magazines, pamphlets, leaflets, and periodicals of various sizes. Kayak owners--yakima roof racks. Can you fit 2 of them side by side?
My husband and I each have a small kayak. Emotion comets. under 10 ft. We drive a Hyundai Santa Fe with factory roof racks.

We are looking at a Yakima roof rack and are debating between a couple of different ones. The Mako Aero saddles are the top runner and they will be on sale for Labor Day, but I can't find any evidence as to if I can fit 2 of those at the same time.

We are just wanting to take the kayak out around, so less than 30 miles or so. I'm not looking for a system for trucking across the US, nor do we have expensive kayaks.
Does anyone out in cyberland know if you can fit 2 saddle style holders on a roof rack? Or do you need to have an upright design no matter how small the kayak?
It's only a $50 difference in price but I'd hate to buy the wrong one, find out it doesn't fit and miss the sale price.
OK, first lets get out the tape measure. Because YES, two sets of saddles will fit on a roof, but you gotta have the bar width.
Measure the beams (width) of both boats, now with inches to spare, will both boats fit on the bars in theory?
Yes, then check the positions of the saddles and make sure where you want them still works with the towers and the existing bars.
If you would like to stretch your bars, sell the shorter ones, and go to longer ones to ensure you have room for two boats on saddles.
No, then one easy option is to put one boat on Makos (saddles) and put the second boat on J-bars (hull raisers). Now it won't match, but both boats will be on the rack.
My recommendation to customers is to always buy wider bars then you think you will need. I personally run 78"s, but I am in the business and many times need to carry two big, wide boats.
