I have baseboard oil heater, and my bed is close to the wall...?
When we start heating this winter, will my bed need to be moved? (I have a small room so options are so small) will this cause a fire? Its a built in baseboard oil heater that goes all around the room...

I would think you would keep the bedding from contacting any heat source directly. If you can walk around the sides and foot of the bed that should be safe. The head board can be 3-4 inches away but bedding usually does not hang down far there. I know electric heat is dangerous and water baseboard is not much of a concern. Just how hot to the touch does oil baseboard heat gets is the question and I don't know. In my last house we had water baseboard and it was great but we could put our hand on it without worry.

I recently had all new electric wires, outlets, switches, service and all.
Location of outlets and electric heat was of concern for the electrical to pass inspection. Although UL listed the electrician said not to have drapes and bedding come in contact with the registers. They tried to avoid placing outlets
above heaters and also tried to avoid placing heaters directly under where drapes would be.
