how do I make a cerise/magenta colour with acryllic paints?
I'm painting a canvas for my self and only have red, white, blue and black acrylic paint. I can't seem to get a cerise colour though, should I add black to red and white maybe?
If you mix any colour with black + white, you'll have a neutralised colour - that is you'll be mixing colour + grey.
Try to avoid that if you're looking for a bright colour.
Red + blue could give a colour close to magenta, only if you use ultramarine blue. Cerulean blue will lead the final colour to brownish mix.
