I accidentally turned off my printer, it was plugged into a surge protector on the floor. I didn't?
know I did this; it happened during a thunderstorm when I had to reboot the computer b/c of power failure. So the Printer was not used for a coupla months. Then I discovered what I did. And I thought the printer was ruined. Another few months went by. Is my printer ruined? If I bought a new Ink cartridge and inserted it into the printer, would the print outs be blurred? I have been under the impression that they would... am I right or wrong??
the printer prob isnt ruined, but the ink cart might be, by not allowing the printer to shut off, it didnt prepare the carts, the ink might have evaporated. get new carts and it should be fine.
