1997 Dodge Caravan's steering is creaking?
I took my 97 Dodge Caravan in for an oil change and the typical 15 pt inspection that they do(Walmart, I'm cheap). When driving home, I noticed that when I turn the steering wheel, there is a creaking noise coming from the front end. I'm not sure where that could have come; as it was just a lube.
This is what they list they do:

Could lubing the chassis have done this?
The noise is similar to what you hear from a door when it's creaking.
no i doubt that this caused that too happen because there's not that many things that could have greased on that van to have caused that to happen, that sounds more like a sway bar bushing making that noise on it, the caravans was real bad to wear out strut bearings and also the bushings that hold the sway bar in place,i own one that makes the same noise and its the sway bar bushings and the strut bearings causing it to happen on it,but neither one pose a threat to coming loose or causing any problems with driving it,its just an irritating noise to put up with,bounce it up and down a few times and see if you can narrow it down some,good luck on it.
