Hairstyles For Round, Long And Heart-shaped Face- A Brief Report

There are a number of different hairstyles out there to choose for round, long and heart-shaped face. Try to find the best one that matches your facial features.

Round face

People with round face will look best in shorter hairstyles, particularly just below the chin. In this case, you will want to make your face longer and thinner. So try a layered shag cut and avoid curly hair. When compared to pin-straight, sleek or flat styles, choppy, soft styles like layers cut around the cheeks do better for round faces. Layers would give the impression of being great and slimmer. If you want to create bangs, remember they are long or side swept. If you create volume on top of the crown that will generate a domed look adding height thus elongates the roundness of the face.

Long face

For a long face, the perfect solution is to make it seem shorter. This can be accomplished by creating chin length cuts and wisphy, see-through bangs. Avoid straight bobs and longer, shapeless styles as they further elongate the appearance. The thickest, fullest part of the hair should be soft and low on the crown and rest behind the ears. For those with chin that is pointy, ensure the hair doesn't curve in towards it, other than sweeps up and away in its place.

Heart-shaped face

Those with heart-shaped face need curly or wavy hair. In this shape, the face is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom. So it calls for a cut hiding the hairline with graduated bangs and a choppy style flipping out on the ends. To draw the eyes from the angular jaw, you could try side swept bangs. Try anything that adds fullness to the top. Creating a pixie style would seem to be great. When the hair turns outwards rather than inwards, it balances the shape by giving volume around the narrow bottom of the face. On the other hand, if your face is an upside-down heart - heavier at the jaw and narrow at the top - takes care there is fullness at the top of the head instead to balance out the chin.

Tips

Since different cuts are flattering for different face shapes; determining what shape yours is can help guide you in the right direction. In spite of your face shape, consider your facial features as well.

Determine which facial features you want to highlight such as your eyes or cheekbones.

Round ball under ear (inside) that hurts when i move my jaw etc..please help!?

For the past week ive had a round ball inside my skin under ear that hurts when i move my jaw and neck...i have no idea what this is and im getting scared because its pretty big and hard....
My friend said it might be a lymth node? i have no idea what that is but im not sure if that is the case otherwise..please help....
What can be that ball and is this somthing to panic for??

I have this too and am interested in someone's answer. I thought it was a hard lump of fat, but a kind Radiologist ultrasound it for me when I was in there for something else. She said if it was a lump of fat, it would show up. I also thought it was do to the deep roots of my back wisdom teeth. I may take the back tooth out if it keeps on bothering me. Maybe there is an infection deep in the tooth. I also thought it maybe it was from food allergies since I sometimes do get swelling after eating. I think you are right that its a lymph node, but what does that mean then :) The one thing I have noticed is the more you touch it and play with it, the more it hurts.
