should i go oil or oil-free air compressor!?!?!?
im comping 30gal 110v air compressors and ive found two that i am interested in. one is oil free, and the other is conventional oil run. it will not be used all the time and its primary use will be paint spraying motorcycle parts. im looking for what will last. the oil free costs about 80dollars less and thats my dilema. i know with the oil unit i will have to purchase a air/oil separator (atleast $50 more). will the conventional oil unit give me that much more life to make up for the $130+ price tag?????

The oil air seperator will have to purchased no matter which one you get for it is to remove moisture from the air line to the sprayer so you dont contaminate what youa re spraying with water, and if you use it for
air tools it keeps the water from ruining the tool
also, it was mentioned the noise, oil free makes alot more noise
the oil compressor will last loger, but will have to have oil changes after so many hours of operation
It is your choice but I just gave some pros and cons
