A spray in the face with water for bad behavior- do you deem this acceptable training for my dog?
We used it on our once-feral cat, and I remember reading about it being used with dogs. I tried it on her, and she stopped doing the bad behavior.
Before you even suggest a sharp "no" or a yip, doesn't always work on her. However, I figure if I spray her while saying no, I can condition her to just draw back when I snap "no" again.
Oh, and she is a large boxer puppy, and we've had her for about a month now. She is extremely bright, but very mischievous.
