workout for a 6 pack...?
i've become really determined lately on my goal of a 6 pack.
Now im not aiming for the bulging body builder body but(wow 5 words that start with b in a row) i want to have a nice body.
im a soccer player and run track and CC so i get all the running in, but what work out should i do? I usually run, then just do some situps and leg raises on the grass.
But i think what i need to work on, is the bottom half of my abdomen, and my obliques(especially). Im not fat at all, but when standing regular, my body is like a straightline, and little bulge out at the bottom half of the abdomen then comes back in. i pretty much want my stomach to look like a rectangular box.
what exercises should i do to lose the fat off these areas?
wow 100 oz? i was aiming for just 64
do other liquids count towards 100 oz? like a 8oz of milk? 100-8=92 left?
and
what are your recomendations of a small meal? snack?
and, i drink a can of arizona iced tea a day. can that stay in my diet?
Abs are 90% diet and 10% excercise. If your exercising like you say you are then I would assume that your abs are getting enough work. They are a relatively small muscle group and don't need that much work a week 2-3 times max. What is your diet like? You need to drink at least 100 ounces of water a day. In addition you will need to limit your intake of white bread and other starchy and sugar laiden foods. You need to eat a portion of protein, a portion of good carbs, and some vegetables in three meals. You need six small meals a day. In between your meals you will need three snacks. But they must be good snacks. I recommend you take some sort of protein powder or meal replacement drink. Myoplex from EAS is a good Meal Repalcement drink, or Designer Whey is a good protein. The difference is MRPs have carbs and protein powder is just protein. Good sources of protein include: chicken, Fish, lean meats like turkey and Eggs. Good carbohydrates include: brown rice, sweet potatoes, whole grain bread etc. Diet is the key to the six pack without that your not going to have one unless you are genetically gifted and don't have to follow this stuff. 20% of the population is like this but it sounds like you will have to work at it like the rest of us.
