Painter's help needed! i repainted the island in the kitchen this weekend, i followed the instructions i got?
off internet excatly. and it still has bubbles in the paint! im so ticked off! this is what i did, i sanded, i cleaned w/ tack cloth, i used an adhesive primer, i sanded again, i cleaned again, i used a good quailty oil based paint and applies w/ a foam type roller that was suggested for a smooth finish, i let each coat dry before applying the next.. i put 3 coats.. and its still looks bubbly! what did i do wrong? and what can i do to fix it? thank you!
Using a foam roller is what caused the bubbles. Adding more coats will only coat and create more bubbles, not hide them. You should have used a normal pile roller.
