Scangauge and Sutticar Help You Monitor Fuel Economy
The Scangauge Automotive Computer is a handy and easy to install gadget for any vehicle that is a 1996 model or newer. Its main function is to examine the functions of your car or truck's engine but it also acts as a trip computer and fuel economy monitor.

The device under the gas pedal creates a counter pressure so whenever you press the gas it forces you accelerate more smoothly. In unusual circumstances the Sutticar will allow you to accelerate rapidly, but in normal driving conditions it keeps your acceleration steady. By accelerating smoothly and then reaching and maintaining an even speed, you are using less fuel.

1995 Ford Taurus OBD 1 or 2?
I wanted to buy a ScanGauge for my car but was told it wouldn't work because OBD 2 only came into effect in 1996. But I went online and some cars started transitioning in 1995 and wondered if my Taurus was one of them. Also, would a ScanGauge tool work on a 1995 Maxima? Thnx.
they are only on 1996 and newer, I have never seen a car made earlier with obd2, been doing inspections 10 years.
