What is the correct jacking point for a trolley jack?
What is the correct jacking point for a trolley jack on a '96 polo. I want to put it up on axle stands, and need a central point to jack from. Anyone shed some light?

All of the instructions for axle stands that i've come across tell me that the weight of the car needs to be lowered evenly onto the stands, which would imply a central lift point? Also, I'm lifting from the front.
in the centre of the rear axil..but me i would do it one side at a time...use the inner suspension bush mounts.
