Air Impact Wrench Question?
I have an impact wrench that requires 90psi. My small little compressor cant keep up but the tool still runs fine. Will it damage the tool if I run it below recommended psi?
Thanks for the fast answers. It was able to remove lug nuts torqued at 100 ft/lbs without the psi being anywhere near 90. I just wanted to make sure that if i used it in the future i would not damage it.
90 psi is required for full power operation of the tool. If you run it with lower pressure, it will not have as much power, but the tool will not be damaged.
You may want to put an larger tank in line between your tool and your compressor the compressor can fill the tank, and when you use the air tool, it will have the reserve air to work with.
